About Cabelio Systems
Cabelio Systems is a U.S.-based wire harness manufacturer on Florida's Space Coast, founded by former SpaceX and Blue Origin leaders. We build flight- and mission-critical harnesses and cable assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, the industry's highest workmanship standard, powered by our own design and quoting software. We're a small, fast-moving team that takes pride in building things right the first time.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will own day-to-day bookkeeping and work directly with leadership to keep our books clean as we scale. This is a flexible, part-time role with a hybrid schedule, ideal for an organized professional who is precise with numbers and discreet with sensitive information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts monthly
- Process payroll and track expenses and receipts
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare basic financial reports
- Support purchase-order and job-costing workflows as the business grows
- Support tax preparation and coordinate with our outside CPA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally for a small business
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and spreadsheets
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-based business
- Familiarity with job costing and purchase-order workflows
- Strong organization, accuracy, and discretion with sensitive financial information
- Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent part-time schedule
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Anticipated start date: late September 2026
- Able to work a hybrid schedule with on-site time in Melbourne, FL
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
