About Cabelio Systems
Cabelio Systems is a U.S.-based wire harness manufacturer on Florida's Space Coast, founded by former SpaceX and Blue Origin leaders. We build flight- and mission-critical harnesses and cable assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, the industry's highest workmanship standard, powered by our own design and quoting software. We're a small, fast-moving team that takes pride in building things right the first time.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Lead Technician sets the standard on our production floor. You will run our most complex builds yourself, guide a small team of technicians, and own the quality and throughput of your work cell. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in building things right the first time, takes initiative to remove roadblocks, and consistently moves the team and the work forward.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mentor new technicians and train the team on equipment operation, processes, and IPC standards (IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001)
- Build the most complex, flight-critical wire harnesses and cable assemblies to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3
- Own work-cell quality, throughput, and adherence to controlled work instructions
- Solder to IPC J-STD-001 and verify the work of others where required
- Operate and oversee hi-pot (dielectric withstand) and other electrical testing, enforcing high-voltage safety procedures across the work cell
- Partner with engineering and quality on DFM feedback, first-article builds, and process improvement
- Maintain tooling, formboards, and process documentation
- Ensure accurate build and traceability data is captured in our manufacturing execution system (MES)
- Take ownership of problems on the floor, drive them to resolution, and lead continuous-improvement efforts
- Drive a safe, organized, and on-time production environment

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 5+ years of experience in wire harness or cable assembly, with progressive responsibility
- Demonstrated experience leading, training, or mentoring a production team
